ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Monroe County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) is warning of a possible COVID-19 exposure at Merchants Grill in Rochester.
The MCDPH is advising anyone who was at the restaurant on 881 Merchants Rd. from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on any day between Tuesday, Nov. 10 and Sunday, Nov. 15 to self-quarantine immediately and contact COVID19@MonroeCounty.gov or 585-753-5555.
It’s also advising anyone who visited at those times to be alert for symptoms of COVID-19, including fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea.
Those experiencing the above symptoms are encouraged to call their doctor.
The department says all COVID-19 precautions were followed at the restaurant, but it’s issuing the warning because it’s concerned about the frequency and duration of visits by a patron who was symptomatic and later tested positive for COVID-19.
