MOUNT MORRIS, N.Y. (WHEC) — Livingston County has recorded two more positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the county's total to seven.
Livingston County Public Health Director Jennifer Rodriguez said on Thursday that the patients are a woman in her 30s and a man in his 20s. Both had been tested at a medical provider's office and are now in mandatory quarantine in their residences, alongside other members of their households.
The Department of Health says that people who were at The Idle House at 5 Center Street in Geneseo between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, may have been exposed to COVID-19. People who were at the Wegmans at 4287 Genesee Valley Plaza Road in Geneseo between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 15 may also have been exposed. Anyone who is showing symptoms or has questions that was at either of those locations are asked to call 585-243-7270.
The Department of Health could not provide any additional identification of the patients due to privacy laws, but said they were working to identify additional close contacts and potential exposure areas.
