ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — New York state is now offering a way for the public to see how many doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are going where.
Secretary to the Governor of New York Melissa DeRosa announced on Twitter on Saturday night that the state has "soft" launched its COVID-19 Vaccine Tracker.
The website shows the number of doses that have been distributed and administered in each region, including how much has been administered relative to the allocation provided. It also reports the number of first and second dose vaccinations distributed and administered across the state.
The dashboard is updated daily with data as of 11 a.m. the same day, according to the website. Vaccination program numbers are for doses distributed and delivered to New York for the state’s vaccination program and does not include those reserved for the federal government’s Long Term Care Facility program.
