ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Sen. Chuck Schumer is in Rochester on Thursday warning that without coronavirus federal relief, the Rochester postal operations will “fizzle.”
After meeting with a USPS postmaster, the senator is warning that “Rochester-Finger Lakes region post offices, along with its 2,200 workers & door-to-door services, face a giant axe unless admin finally meets in the middle & negotiates [a] ‘COVID-4’ bill."

“Even a back of the envelope calculation shows Rochester would be amongst the hardest hit if action is not taken,” Schumer says
Schumer says that many individuals, especially seniors and those dependent on medications, depend on the USPS for connectivity and reliable service.
