'Small cluster' of COVID-19 cases reported at SUNY Geneseo

GENESEO, N.Y. (WHEC) — A "small cluster" of COVID-19 cases has emerged at SUNY Geneseo.

The Livingston County Department of Health and SUNY Geneseo say Sunday that four female SUNY Geneseo students in their 20s have tested positive for the disease. The four reside off-campus in the same house and they are now in isolation at their residence.

A representative of the Department of Health says that they are working with SUNY Geneseo to perform contact tracing and test those who may have been exposed.

Livingston County has had 202 positive coronavirus tests thus far, according to the press release. 

Anyone in Livingston County who feels they may have been exposed to COVID-19 is urged to call the Department of Health at 585-243-7270.
