ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Steuben County is dealing with a significant outbreak of COVID-19 after a cluster of cases in Corning.

The Steuben County Health Department says 32 people tested positive. Of those cases, 28 are either residents or employees of the Corning Center Nursing Home.

According to officials, all the people who are infected have been isolated.

Due to the outbreak, the county is hosting a free drive-thru testing event from noon until 6 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday.

It's happening at the Victory Highway Wesleyan Church in Painted Post.
