ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)—If you own a small business and took a hit from the pandemic, you can now apply for more help.
Applications for New York's Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant program officially opened Thursday morning. $800 million in funding is available.
The program is meant to help business owners cover expenses, including payroll, rent, or mortgage payments. To be eligible, a place must be currently viable and open since at least March 1, 2019.
Applicants will have to show proof of economic hardship over the past 15 months. The maximum grant is $50,000.
