WASHINGTON, D.C.(WHEC)— While some people's pockets may have seen a $1400 boost, the COVID bill responsible for those stimulus checks also comes with additional resources.

NY Congressman Joe Morelle Tuesday released an In-Depth list of what may be available to you as part of the American Rescue Plan, and News10NBC has it broken down for you, including the links you may need.

Resources are as followed:

  • Additional relief of up to $1,600 per child through the Child Tax Credit Will be paid out automatically if you qualify, check out your status here
  • Earned Income Tax Credit $1,502 for childless workers, including many in frontline jobs- More information here.
  • Additional tax credits to lower health insurance premiums—Current enrollees, including those who recently enrolled through the 2021 Special Enrollment Period, can update their applications and enrollments to get new eligibility results starting April 1. Individuals will need to reselect their current plan for the changes to take effect to reduce your premiums for the remainder of the year.  
  • Added funds for  Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program—You can apply for this benefit by calling 1-800-342-3009 or, apply online.
  • Enhanced Child and Dependent Care Credit—Families will receive a tax credit on their childcare expenses for children younger than 13. See the IRS page for more info.
  • Food assistance benefits for missed school lunches—Find information on this program in New York, and answers to frequently asked questions here.
  • Increase in SNAP benefits— New Yorkers can apply here.
  • COVID-19 funeral expenses—See our previous story on this.
  • Food assistance for older Americans— Find out if you qualify for nutrition assistance here.
  • Extra $300 weekly unemployment benefit—Learn more and apply at the New York Unemployment Insurance Program website.
  • Shuttered Venues Grant Program—Check eligibility and apply here.
  • Economic Injury Disaster Loans—For information on eligibility, or to apply, visit the Small Business Administration website, or call 1-800-659-2955.
