ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The northern border with Canada is officially a two-way street once again Monday morning, as just after midnight- the United State reopened borders to anyone vaccinated.

The move also ends all bans on travel from specific countries.

The only exception: Countries with less than 10% of the population vaccinated. In that case–the U.S. will only take travelers for humanitarian or emergency reasons.

If you’re an unvaccinated American coming back home, you’ll have to show proof of a negative COVID test within one day of returning home.
