Chicken patty recall impacts Trader Joe’s product

(NBCNC) — Innovative Solutions is recalling 97,887 pounds of raw ground chicken patty products that may be contaminated with pieces of bone.

The recall involves chile lime chicken burgers and spinach feta chicken sliders, some of which were sold at Trader Joe’s.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said the products were produced on various dates from Aug. 16 to Sept. 29.

So far, there have been no confirmed reports of any adverse reactions.

Consumers who have bought these products should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
