Megan Garbach grew up in a loving family in Webster. She excelled at Webster Schroeder High School and went on to become an environmental engineer. She passed away at age 27 in 2014. Since then her family has been on a crusade to bring mental illness out into the open to help others struggling with depression.
On News10NBC at Noon, Meg's sister Maria and friend Alyse Ferranti talked about how Meg's family has tried to turn her suicide into something positive. They also told us about a golft tournament planned at Shadow Lake on Saturday, August 12. (More info) https://www.megsgift.org/annual-golf-tournament
