AVON, N.Y. (WHEC) — The graduates of Avon High School enjoyed a graduation ceremony that is unusual in the day of coronavirus: in person!
Since the graduating class was smaller, they were able to hold the ceremony on the school's football field on Sunday.
The students still were seated far apart, however, and graduates had to wear masks as they accepted their diplomas as friends and families cheered from the stands.
The graduation was supposed to happen on Saturday, but was delayed because of the weather.
