Deputies: Rochester man facing 22 charges after road rage incident

GROVELAND, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man is facing charges after a road rage incident went too far in Livingston County.

The sheriff’s office says the vehicle that was hit had five kids inside.

Rex R. Digennaro, 50, of Rochester, is now facing 22 charges, including 10 felonies.

Deputies say the incident happened around 7:45 p.m. Thursday on I-390 North in Groveland.

Digennaro is accused of using a Glock replica-style pistol BB gun to fire at another vehicle with seven people inside. Police say five of those people were children 14 or younger.

One window was shattered.

Digennaro was arrested in Geneseo shortly after. He was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff on $4,000 bail cash/credit or $8,000 bond.
