NEW YORK (WHEC) — A judge approved former Congressman Chris Collins’s request to delay the start of his prison term.

He will now start his sentence on June 23.

Collins’s attorneys argued that he has health concerns that put him at high risk of contracting the coronavirus.

Collins was scheduled to report to prison on April 21 after his sentence was previously pushed back.

He was sentenced to 26 months in prison back in January after pleading guilty to insider trading charges.
