ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Nate McMurray’s campaign told News10NBC there were 95,000 absentee ballots requested in New York’s 27th District.

Of them, nearly 45,000 were requested by Democrats.

The remainder were requested by Republicans, Independents and other third parties for the special election and primary.

According to the campaign, 75,000 have already been mailed in.

They will not be counted until on or about July 1 at the earliest, so it's unlikely a winner will be declared for these races.

In the Republican Primary for NY-27, Chris Jacobs had a lead other Beth Parlato and Stefan Mychajliw as of Tuesday night.
