NEW YORK (WHEC) — Nonessential businesses remain shut down statewide, but Gov. Andrew Cuomo has made an exception for car dealers.
Licensed dealers in the state can now complete sales through a remote or electronic process.
There are several conditions though.
Dealerships cannot be open to the general public, and they should only be doing transactions for customers who need a new or replacement vehicle, or for customers who have to return a vehicle because their lease has ended.
