ROCHESTER, N.Y. — News10NBC’s Hailie Higgins was at the Rochester Museum and Science Center as people celebrated the total solar eclipse with music, food, and activities.

The celebration was part of the ROC the Eclipse Festival that began on Saturday. RMSC had live music and eclipse-themed merchandise. A NASA astronaut spoke.

Hailie also spoke with Mayor Malik Evans about how the city planned for the eclipse and about what this once-in-a-lifetime event means to the city.
