ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A year ago, News10NBC started reporting on a Rochester nursing home employee accused of sexually assaulting an 81-year-old resident suffering from dementia.

That employee has now been convicted of rape and other charges. That announcement came from NY Attorney General Letitia James on Thursday.

The former nursing home employee, Khadka Pradhan, is facing 25 years in prison. The assault happened in September of last year at the Shorewinds nursing home where Pradhan worked as a housekeeper.
