Man is recovering after shooting on Dewey Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is recovering after being shot on Dewey Avenue near Electric Avenue on Thursday night.
Rochester Police officers responded just before midnight and found the man shot in the lower body. He was rushed to Strong Hospital and is expected to survive.
RPD is still investigating what led up to the shooting and is asking anyone with information to call 911.
