US seeing chicken tender shortage

(NBCNC) — America has a bit of a chicken problem. Demand is outpacing supply, which has sent prices skyrocketing.
The tight supply is also leaving some restaurants without some of their best-selling items.
The National Chicken Council says, "As chicken production begins to resume a more normal pace of output in the coming months, and there is a better supply/demand ratio, the market tightness should ease."
