It’s beginning to feel a little bit like winter

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — It’s beginning to feel a little bit like winter. Are you excited or not so much??? There will be a brisk wind overnight out of the west-southwest with sustained wind of 10-20mph. Areas well south of the Thruway and at the higher elevations could see a slushy inch of lake effect snow overnight. Low temperatures will dip down to the low to mid 30s.
We will start the day, Sunday, with a quick passing shower or wet snowflake then the sun will move in and stick with us through the early afternoon. High temperatures will climb into the low 40s.

Around 2-3pm rain showers will move in and they will turn to wet snow showers during the evening.

Roads may be slick tomorrow night and Monday morning when you factor in a trace of slushy, wet snow and a lot of leaves on roads. Anything that sticks will quickly melt and we will see a few lake effect rain showers off an on during the day on Monday. High temperatures will climb into the low 40s.

We will briefly warm up nicely on Wednesday with some sunshine and high temperatures near 60°.
