According to business owner, the mom said she didn't realize her 10-year-old snuck out and said he was in bed when she woke up at 6 a.m.

After friends alerted the mom of the news story, she called the business and asked Tahou if they can come in and say they're sorry.

Tahou says the child was in tears as he apologized.

As for the business owner, he tells News10NBC he's happy the mom was proactive and had her child take responsibility.
