ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Investigators are looking into what caused a fire at a two-family home in Rochester early Tuesday morning.

The people who live on the second floor called 911 after their apartment started filling with smoke, causing the smoke detector to go off. Officials say the people who live on the first floor were not home at the time.

No one was hurt.

Officials say the Red Cross will follow up with the people who live on the first floor because their apartment is "uninhabitable."
