Reports of multiple shots fired in Rochester Monday led to a brief police chase and ended in the arrest of two individuals.

When officers arrived to Clairmont Street around 3:30 p.m., a car took off at a high speed. The vehicle then struck a tree on Randolph Street where the two suspects got out and took off on foot.

After a brief chase, officers brought the two into custody after being treated for minor injuries at RGH.

One of the suspects had a handgun in his possession at the time of the arrest, and it was discovered that the car they were in had been reported stolen from Greece.

There is no further information available at this time. The investigation is still ongoing.
