24-year-old wounded in Hague Street shooting

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)- A 24-year-old man has been hospitalized after being shot on Hague Street Friday night.

According to the Rochester Police Department, officers responded to the area of 524 Hague Street around 7:05 p.m. for reports of shots fired. Soon after, there was a call on Ames Street for a male shot.

Officers determined that the victim, a city resident, had been wounded hin his lower back while on Hague Street after an argument. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting was the second of the day in Rochester, following a shooting on North Clinton Avenue earlier in the day.
