ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — What started as a small non-profit based out of Geneva, has grown to serve individuals battling cancer in Ontario, Seneca, Schuyler, Wayne and Yates counties.
Thrive to Survive aims to provide support to cancer patients and their families in the Finger Lakes region. Event organizers are gearing up for one of their biggest fundraising events of the year — the Middle Finger 5K.
The family-friendly run/walk event, originally scheduled to take place on May 2, has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Click here for race updates.
One hundred percent of proceeds from the event go directly to supporting patients and providing services, like support groups, wellness services, and fitness programs.
