Marriott promises to reimburse victims for new passports.

This follows the massive data breach where hackers stole information from more than 500 million guests of the Marriott hotel empire over four years, including credit card information, passport numbers and other personal data.

Now, Marriott says it will pay for new passports for those impacted. More than 300 million passport numbers are believed to have been exposed in the breach.

The cost of a passport replacement for adults is $110.

Security experts fear, in a worst case scenario, the data breach could pose serious risks of identity theft.
