NY attorney general announces election hotline to protect voter access for primary

An election day hotline is available to help troubleshoot and resolve a range of issues that voters may encounter at the polls on Thursday. 

Attorney General Underwood urges voters who experience issues to call her office's hotline at 800-771-7755. Voters can also email any issues to civil.rights@ag.ny.gov at any time between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. Thursday.

“Voting is a fundamental right — and all eligible voters should be able to freely exercise that right,” said Attorney General Underwood. “Any New Yorkers who encounter barriers to voting or other problems at their poll sites should immediately contact my office.”
