AG warns against price gouging following winter storm

Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman has issued a consumer alert encouraging you to contact his office if you experience any potential price gouging following the winter storm.

State law prohibits excessive increases in prices of essential goods and services during winter weather events, including snow plowing and hiring contractors for storm-related damage.
