ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — New York State has extended its alcohol-to-go policy, the state liquor authority announced the decision Wednesday.
The policy allows restaurants and bars to serve customers "to-go" alcoholic beverages, and it was set to expire the first week of December.
Some business owners say it has helped them stay afloat during the pandemic.
Right now, We're working to find out how long the state has extended the policy, though there is a measure in the state assembly that would extend the "alcohol to go" policy until the pandemic ends.
