Alzheimer's Association hosting virtual symposium for Black community

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Alzheimer’s Association’s Rochester & Finger Lakes Chapter hosts its 10th annual Dr. Lemuel & Gloria Rogers Health Symposium virtually this week. 

Lois Williams Norman, chair of the Alzheimer's Association's Diversity and Inclusion Board Committee, joined News10NBC's Lynette Adams on Rochester in Focus to talk about the event, which aims to raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias among the Black community, and inform the community about the resources available.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the free event will place virtually on Thursday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
