BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC) — The North Tonawanda Police Department canceled an Amber Alert issued early Tuesday morning for a 17-year-old girl.
According the Pennsylvania State Police on Twitter, the teen was found safe.
Police initally said they believe she was abducted on Niagara Falls Boulevard around 7 p.m. Monday by 50-year-old Michael D. Mesko.
Our Buffalo affiliate reports PA troopers pulled Mesko and the girl over for a "felony stop" in Vananago County, PA. Both were taken to the hospital, but troopers did not say if there were any specific injuries.

North Tonawanda Police say Mesko is in federal custody and is state charges are pending.
