Another horse dies at Saratoga

Another horse has died at the Saratoga Race Course.

According to the New York State Gaming Commission, four-year-old Frosty Gal got away from its handler while grazing and ran loose. Officials say she was injured and euthanized on Wednesday.

This marks the fourth death at Saratoga for this calendar year and third death since the racing season started.

At this point last calendar year, eight horses had died.
