#BeNicer teams welcome back students

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Our #BeNicer teams were out in full force Wednesday morning, visiting four local school districts. 

It's all part of our campaign to combat cyberbullying—an effort schools are happy to rally behind.

News10NBC's Stacey Pensgen, Sam LaRocca, and other volunteers greeted students at Jefferson Avenue Elementary School in Fairport. 

Another team of volunteers, including News10NBC's Kaci Jones, Jennifer Lewke, Jazz Williams, and members of Rochester's Do the Right Thing program, paid a visit to Northwest Junior High on Fernwood Park in Rochester. 

Students at Rise Community School on West Ridge Road got a special welcome back from News10NBC's Brett Davidsen and his band Rugburn. 

In the Finger Lakes, members of Lyons National Bank, which sponsors #BeNicer, welcomed back students at middle schools in Lyons and Penn Yan.
