Berkeley Brean

Berkeley Brean is the Chief Investigative Reporter for News10NBC. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario and has a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University.

Berkeley was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario. As a reporter, he’s following in his grandfather’s footsteps who was a radio broadcaster in the Canadian Maritimes. His grandfather, Berkeley Brean, was the play-by-play voice of the AHL hockey team the Moncton Hawks and won the Maritimes Press Association award for “favorite newscaster” in 1947.

Just before university, Berkeley travelled in the international group “Up With People” where he performed on stage and community service in 15 different countries and 16 different states in the U.S.

Berkeley lives with his wife Shannon in Brighton
