He is the biggest factor in the Buffalo Bills offense but will LeSean McCoy be able to play on Sunday? The All-Star running back did not practice Wednesday and was not available to the media. But Sean McDermott said that LeSean McCoy is a competitor and hopes his star running back will be ready to go.

"Just like any competitor, and you know I mean he is a fierce competitor. So he's hard at work maximizing the treatment opportunities to get himself to where he can play," said McDermott. "We want the best for Shady. If he's healthy we absolutely want him out there playing and giving...playing and giving us his all. But if he's not, we have a tremendous group of guys in the backfield that will be able to step in and carry the load."

If LeSean can not play in the game, Marcus Murphy will likely take a lot of the snaps at running back, and says that he's been like a sponge: soaking up all of the information from LeSean that he can. "Shady helps me out a lot. I try to sit next to him at every meeting, you know, just to pick his brain and try to see what he sees on the field. All the running backs know the game plan. I just know what I need to know, and if my number's called on and I need to do something, I'll be there and I'll be ready to go. Since I've gotten here I've been getting reps. I've been taking advantage of those reps so that's how I approach it. I approach it just like any other day. Just take advantage of the opportunity I get and come out and execute."

McDermott added that he's confident in the back up running backs and said that he was pleased with what he saw in the win over Miami just last week.
