ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) -- Friday was a night of recognition, art, music, and food in the celebration of Black History Month.
The City of Rochester's Black Heritage Committee hosted an event Friday called, An Evening of Art and Jazz and Food Tasting.
Guests were treated to original art by local African-American artists and live jazz from a local band.
The organization, Sisters Together Achieving Results, also offered a food tasting of an array of African-American specialty foods.
