A growing Amazon is spilling out of its headquarters in Seattle and is now actively looking for a spot to call its second home.

Thursday, we spoke with the man that thinks Rochester should be that city. Chamber of Commerce President Bob Duffy says it sent a letter to CEO Jeff Bezos this January pitching Rochester as a possible expansion city. Duffy says they sent another one on Thursday.

Amazon says it will spend more than $5 billion to build another headquarters to house as many as 50,000 employees.

"That number of jobs coming here and we do have work force challenges around the country," said Duffy. "We have a work force that I believe could meet their demands."

He adds, "What a magnet for young professionals, graduates leaving our colleges and universities to come and stay here."

Duffy says we have a workforce that's poised to grow.
