BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office says it’s now reviewing evidence in the Brighton car crash that killed a 9-year-old girl and her babysitter in Brighton in November.
The Brighton police say on the day before Thanksgiving, a car left the road on Edgewood Avenue, hitting and killing 9-year-old Mila Ruangsuwana and her 45-year-old babysitter Elmira Kamilevna Hall. Mila’s 2-year-old brother, Evan, was also struck, and he was seriously injured.
News10NBC has asked the Brighton Police Chief what the status of the investigation is every week.
On Monday, we were told the case and all of the evidence was passed on to the District Attorney’s Office.
The District Attorney’s Office told us it’s reviewing the case.
