The lockout at schools in the Brockport Central School District was lifted after a potential threat was investigated.
All schools in the district were placed under lockout around 8:30 a.m. Friday as a safety precaution while deputies investigated a possible threat at the high school.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said it worked with the school district to identify the student who reportedly made the threat and determined it was not credible.
No charges have been filed against the student, and deputies are working with the district and the student's family.
