ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — On Tuesday, a group of campers and adults with Camp Good Days returned to Rochester from a fun-filled trip to Florida.
They went to Disney World and Universal Studios.
All of the children who went on the trip are either battling cancer or sickle-cell anemia.
"Not only do they get to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity, they get to be with friends who they see at camp who are going through similar life challenges so it means a lot to them and it means a lot to these families," Camp Director Caitlyn Bailey said.
The Camp Good Days Florida trip has been a tradition since 1985.
It’s made possible thanks to the generosity of a donor who ensured that Camp Good Days could continue the trip.
