A young father from Greece is in disbelief over the vandalism to his car over the weekend. What he found were racial slurs spray painted all over his mini-van.

The owner was out of town and came home to the shocking sight.

The owner, who asked to remain anonymous, says "my first initial reaction... who had done this...what? Okay like is it permanent is it still wet? I touched it and it was already dry."

The young father of two then realized there was nothing he could do to clean this up. He had bought the car because his family needed more room for a new baby. There is no way he'll be able to afford to fix it. It's an older model car and he only had liability coverage.

"Personally I don't think I have any issues with anyone or any race or anything to warrant vandalizing my property. I don't know what to call it other than vandalism."

Jeaneen Waddell calls it mean and unacceptable. She says the owners are very nice, very polite people. Their children ride the same school bus.

"It almost makes me scared to let my children play outside because what kind of neighborhood do I live in? I have small children...completely outraged."

Waddell says this has never happened in the five years she's lived here.

Greece Police confirm they are investigating this matter.

News10NBC learned that there is surveillance video, however, police are not prepared to release it at this time.

If you have any information about this crime to call 911.
