SPENCERPORT, N.Y. (WHEC) — The snow outside didn’t keep Miracle League/Challenger baseball from spring training on Monday.

The fourth annual inclusive event was held at Salmon Creek Country Club.

The team and players with disabilities came out to enjoy themselves, educate the community about the opportunities available to all types of people and spread awareness.

"It's just an opportunity for us to love people and give back to them in any way we can,” Organizer Jonathan Schwind said. “Obviously, the focus is around baseball, but it's really just allowing these kids to experience some joy and not just kids... there's people of all ages and as much as it is for the participants the players, it's also for the volunteers as well."
