Congressman Collins wins 27th Congressional District

Republican Congressman Chris Collins has won the seat for the 27th Congressional District. 

The congressman won over Democrat Nate McMurray and Reform Party candidate Larry Piegza on Tuesday.


McMurray announced Tuesday night that he seceded the race. 

Collins won the 27th Congressional District by more than 100,000 votes two years ago.

In a poll News10NBC sponsored last week in partnership with Dixie Strategies, Collins was leading by seven percent.
