City Council approves putting Police Accountability Board to public vote

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) -- Rochester City Council passed legislation to allow the public to vote on a Police Accountability Board. 

The board would have the power to investigate complaints of police misconduct.

Now, it's in the hands of the public. 

The Police Accountability Board will be on the Nov. 5 ballot.
