PARMA, N.Y. (WHEC) — The owner of a local music school was arrested after deputies say he allegedly placed a camera in the school's bathroom.
Investigators arrested 42-year Philip Close of Rochester, the owner of Close School of Music on West Ridge Road, on Thursday.
Deputies launched an investigation after a client of the school found a camera in the bathroom of the school. Search warrants were executed at the music school and Close's home to secure any potential evidence.
Close is charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance, a Class E felony. He was remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $2,000 cash/$4,000 bond.
According to the sheriff’s office, the Close School of Music has been operating since 2016.
