ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — High School seniors taking the next step in their educations celebrated Friday morning with a march.

Students from School 58 on University Avenue marched to City Hall to deliver letters stating their college choice and thanking the adults who have shown them support and guidance throughout the years.

"I wrote a letter to my mom and my sister for being at this school 12 years, I've been here since kindergarten, thanking them for pushing me along and making my school experience better because without them I don't think I would be here today," student Fairis Freeman said.

Students were greeted by Rochester City Mayor Lovely Warren and Superintendent Terry Dade, who congratulated them on their hard work in the classroom.
