Rochester in Focus: Community organization urging others to help end violence

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — This week on Rochester in Focus, Lynette Adams talked with Clay Harris, the founder of Uniting and Healing Through Hope of Monroe County. 

Harris is planning two more events aimed at stopping the violence in Rochester.  

The Clergy Conference takes place on May 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Hope Christian Fellowship. Harris is calling on faith leaders all over the region to join the anti-violence initiative. Reserve your spot here

A Stop the Violence rally is scheduled for June 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The first one comes up this Tuesday at Hope Christian Fellowship on Lake Avenue at 6:30 p.m. Harris is calling on faith leaders all over the region to join the anti-violence initiative.
