Correctional officer accused of taking bribes

A corrections officer is accused of taking bribes from an inmate in exchange for drugs.

State police arrested 38-year-old Raul Santiago on Friday. He worked at the Livingston Correctional Facility.

An investigation by the State Department of Corrections and Troopers found Santiago was being paid by an inmate to bring synthetic marijuana into the prison.

He is currently in the Livingston County Jail on bail.
