There are more coyote problems in the Rochester area. In the latest case, a man spotted one walking along the pier at Ontario Beach Park.

A baby coyote was spotted walking along the pier Saturday night. Beachgoers say it was a scary sight.

Jimmy Ammann took a walk on the pier at Charlotte Beach on Saturday and was able to capture footage of the baby coyote.

"Well this is definitely a moment that I need to capture because I know there have been a lot of coyote sightings recently and I knew this would be a moment that would catch a lot of peoples attention," Ammann told News10NBC.

The DEC came out Sunday to investigate. DEC officials say it wasn't full grown, but people should keep away from it.

The sighting has people at the beach with their families concerned. Garrett Phelan from Fairport says he hopes everyone stays away from it.

“He’s out of line, he’s not where he supposed to be and I hope nobody goes up to him thinking he’s a sweet dog," Garrett Phelan from Fairport says. "He’s not a sweet dog, he has to do what he has to do."

Recently coyotes have been spotted in Greece, causing town officials there and in Brighton to hold meetings to inform the public about the issue. Again, if you come across a coyote, you're asked to stay away from it.
